Since 1950, Robinson's Delivery Service has been family owned and operated. Founded by James and Elizabeth Robinson on the premise of FAST DEPENDABLE DELIVERY SERVICE, it excels today on this strong foundation.

J.M. Robinson Sr., Chairman, still keeps close contact with many of the original clients he established through the years. He started in this business as a part time helper in 1947. Gaining on the job training as he went, little by little it became evident that there was need for more delivery companies in the greater Kansas City Area.

As Christmas approached in 1950, Robinson's Delivery was called upon by Western Auto to provide home deliveries to their clients in Kansas City, Kansas, thus the establishment of Robinson's Delivery Service. The name was derived because of the many relatives; brothers, sisters, cousins and children who worked in the company.

Using a pick-up truck and family help, Robinson's became known throughout the city for it's fast dependable deliveries, and courteous drivers.

A second generation including, V.T. Robinson, President, A.E. Robinson, K.H. Robinson, and J.M. Robinson Jr., Vice-Presidents are continuing to build on this foundation.
